EDUCATION Cannot Wait (ECW) has announced a $1-million (about R14m) grant to respond to the situation of refugee children and youth in Chad. The youngsters fled violence in the Central African Republic (CAR).

The fund will provide about 7 800 CAR refugee children and children in host communities with the safety, protection and opportunities of quality learning environments, ECW said this week. | African News Agency (ANA)
